Pure British

About the project

Pure British is a Swedish cover band playing British rock and pop. I documented their concerts during a 2022 tour, focusing on capturing the energy and atmosphere on stage.

My role

• Concert photographer with full access to stage and backstage
• Image processing and delivery of high-resolution photos
• Social media content adapted for the band’s marketing

The photography

Concert photography requires quick work under challenging lighting conditions:

• Documentation of the entire concert from different angles
• Capturing interaction between band and audience
• Backstage photos for more personal content

Technical

• Sony Alpha system with fast 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses
• High ISO values with post-processing for minimal noise
• Quick delivery with selection next day

Results

The images are used by the band in their marketing, on social media, and for press kits. Several photos have also been published in local media in connection with concerts.
